So, what is an ARG0 AATV?
The Argo is an amphibious UTV designed to access places no other vehicle on earth can access. We actually call them AATV's (Amphibious All Terrain Vehicle). The Argo is made in Canada by Ontario Gear and Drive. It has been made since 1964 and the 2012 lineup is the most impressive yet. Our AATV's come in 8x8 and 6x6 configurations with many different models. In recent years, the lineup has been updated with fuel injection, liquid cooling and the new admiral transmission.
Best of all, all models are completely amphibious. You can drive it right into a body of water and the wheels alone will propel you up to 3.5 mph. We offer an outboard motor bracket where you can mount up to a 9.9 hp outboard that will give you a speed of 8-10 mph in water.
We also offer 4 different types of tracks for the entire lineup. These are all season, all terrain tracks. They offer perfomance in sand, mud, snow, dirt, marsh, and swamp. We start with the 13 inch plastic super track and go up to the top of the line 18 inch rubber tracks. When additional traction is needed, the track systems we offer will get you where no other ATV or UTV can access, period!
We also offer an impressive list of accessories for the 2012 lineup. Some of the more popular accessories are full tops, windshields, winches, snow plows, heaters, high output alternators, and brushguards.
All models have impressive load capacities. Our HDi 8x8 can handle 1150 pounds on land, with no rear compartment weight limit. In the water, it can handle a hefty 1000 pounds. It will also carry more passengers than any other atv or utv with a maximum of 6 people.
All our models are extremely over built and tough as nails. Maintenece is a snap with everything needed to maintain your argo available at your local auto parts store. Many owner like to do thier own repairs and maintenence as both 8x8's and 6x6's are easy and user freindly to maintain and, if ever needed, repair.
We also offer a very strong factory warranty. A full year on the body. We offer a two year warranty on Kohler engine equipped models and a 3 year warranty on the Vanguard engine equipped models.
So, what are some potential uses for an Argo AATV? How about recreation, foresty, hunting, fishing, mining, oil and gas, logging, cabin access, search and rescue, ice fishing, ski resort operations, camping, and the list goes on and on!
